Happy Father's Day!

I had a great time today in Greenville, SC for Father's Day with the family.  My Dad was so happy and that means Father's Day was a success! I'm so proud to be the daughter of such a great man. Happy Father's Day to the greatest Dad in the world! 

DIY Chalkboard

 

After seeing & hearing about all of these cute do it yourself chalkboards I definitely wanted to try it myself.  So I went to Hobby Lobby and got a bulletin board with a cute black frame around it that was 50% off and it has a small crack in it so I got it for $8.00! Jumped over to Michael's to get gold Metallic spray paint and Chalkboard spray paint.  I flipped the bulletin board over and sprayed it with the chalkboard spray and painted the frame with the gold spray paint.  I waited 24 hours for it to dry and tied it up with a pretty sheer ribbon.  It turned out perfect!  Just another thing to mark off my house wish list.  Check!

Happy Mother's Day!

I had the best day with my MOM today!  There's nothing like celebrating a wonderful woman on a special day like Mother's Day. My Mom is the most sweetest, honest, respectable, loving, and thoughtful woman.  I'm so proud to call her my Momma!  

 

Pottery Barn Obsession

I should have never found this website! Now all of my summer is going to be spent shopping for look alike items from Pottery Barn when I can't afford the real thing...sigh.  :)  I've convinced myself that Cale is going to make me this island for the patio so I can keep my plants on and I love everything I've posted below and plan on copying all the designs!  If its a success I'll let you know!

My Dream Patio Is On It's Way!

These two magazines give me way too many projects! Once I see the cute houses featured in them I'm on a mission to make ours better.  Right now its on its way! Thanks to my employee appreciation today I won $200 which went towards our home improvement project.  :) It's a work in progress, but I think its a good start. Pressure washers are amazing! I wish I had a old picture of what the wood looked like before.

 $100 for winning the best dessert! This is the very cute dirt dessert.
